Detective Abbey Davison must put her personal troubles aside to unravel the cold-blooded murder of the owner of a local ice cream parlor. When the gunman surrenders without incident, a tense cat and mouse game ensues with the killer taunting her with clues to the mystery of recently abducted children. Detective Davison must solve the case to secure his confession while her faith is tested in every way imaginable.
